So after doing my now routine post-update Facebook interface poke-around, I hopped on to one of my favorite applications - Zynga’s ATTACK! which is a game of Risk online. Yes. I’m a dork. You knew that already.

Anyway, it all looked pretty similar, except a little notification I got – and that notification carries a heck of a lot of meaning:

Hallelujah! For such a tiny notification, this is immense! Annoyed by Farmville? Can’t stand Mafia Wars? Good news! They can still play it on Facebook, but notifications will be sent via email off of Facebook!

Spread the word. And no, I don’t feel sorry for Mafia Wars players.
